SUMMARY:Virtual Parenting Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Facilitated by JFS Dallas Clinicians\, Dr. Bonny Stewart and Shareen Wornson\, this Virtual Parenting Support Group will be held on Zoom every Thursday at 7:00 PM through December 2020. This group is open to any parent of school aged children regardless of race\, religion\, ethnicity or ability to pay. It is free to attend and participants can come and go at any point in the 10 weeks based on your own availability. \nThe group will cover a wide range of topics that parents are struggling with right now. Examples include dealing with kids at home\, Fall school being different because of COVID-19\, coping through the pandemic in general\, and other parenting issues.  We will educate and process together. And by offering the chance to communicate with people who get it\, we hope to make the day-to-day fear\, frustration\, anxiety and overwhelming emotions a little easier to handle. \nPlease email Dr. Bonny Stewart at bstewart@jfamilyservice.org for the zoom link.
