DESCRIPTION:In honor of Special Needs Awareness Month\, the JFS Special Needs Partnership is hosting a FREE Community-Wide Inclusion Experience prior to the Volunteer Appreciation event. The Inclusion Experience is a hands-on interactive\, multi-sensory simulation designed for participants to experience how people of all abilities live. Created by local clinical social workers\, professional educators\, and parents\, this program focuses on targeted learning differences and disabilities that affect people worldwide. The program includes simulations of speech\, vision\, hearing\, dyslexia\, fine motor\, executive function disabilities and more. \nIt is our hope that after participating in our program\, people will develop a greater sense of understanding and willingly include others who are different from them.

For 6 weeks we will look at what substance abuse and addiction is and how it controls our lives. We will also look at options for recovery and help you design a plan that will start you on a path to health and wellness. \nThis is a closed group and space will be limited.
